This one-of-a-kind, artisan-set pendant combines an authentic fossilized shark tooth and natural shell found along the North Carolina coast with a rare piece of UV-reactive pink sea glass from the Caribbean.

UV sea glass contains elements in the original glass composition that cause it to fluoresce or glow when exposed to ultraviolet light. In ordinary light, this piece displays its beautiful very light pink hue; under UV light, it comes alive with a luminous glow—a fascinating remnant of historic glassmaking transformed by years in the Caribbean Sea.

Set by hand in brass richly plated in 18K gold, the pendant is finished with an 18" 14K gold-filled chain.
