Sea glass pendants

Sea glass pendants
Each of these one-of-a-kind pendants begins with a piece of authentic sea glass that I personally dived from the Caribbean Sea near a historic trade port. Based on the location where it was recovered and the character of the glass, these fragments likely date to the 19th century, when the Caribbean's harbors were bustling with sailing ships carrying rum, wine, medicines, provisions, and goods between Europe, the Americas, and the islands.
After more than a century beneath the water, the sea has softened each fragment into its own organic shape and given the glass the beautiful frosted surface and jewel-like color that can only come with time.
Each piece is individually set in brass with a rich 18K gold plating, allowing the original shape and character of the glass to remain the focus. Finished with an 18" 14K gold-filled chain.
No two are alike. Each is a small piece of Caribbean maritime history—lost from another era, shaped by the ocean, and brought back to the surface by hand.
